Hole Inclusive is an informal, international community of golfing friends who, between November and March, heedless of rain, wind, cold, and snow, organize a "winter tour" to courses in FVG and neighboring Slovenia and Croatia.

The spirit of Hole Inclusive lies in the play on words: it's a reminder of "hole-in-one," the quintessence of golf, but, just like a cozy clubhouse, our community includes everyone. It doesn't matter if you are male or female, neophyte or veteran, pro or amateur, if your swing is not yet perfect, if your stance is uncertain, or if your irons are not the shiniest. At Hole Inclusive, what matters is your passion for "The Greatest Game Ever Played."

At Hole Inclusive, the values of the spirit of the game prevail: respect for others, for the course, for yourself, and, above all else, a love for the beauty and harmony of the game of golf and the places where it is played.

 

Our logo, winking at the green on hole 19, features a glass of gin martini with a flag that says HI, our acronym (hello, in the language of golf). A nod to the experience of Hole Inclusive Tour tournaments, which make the nineteenth hole an integral part of the experience, the ultimate playing field, a place of camaraderie and stories told at the table at the end of each round.

The tension? Leave it at home, because here, in the cold and bora, the only pressure you'll find is to hit the ball just right.

Of course there is also competition to spice up our winter tour. We will each play with our actual handicap and calculate points using the Stableford net system. We'll touch all the open courses in the FVG plus one, but you won't have the need to have to participate in all the competitions in order to win the final trophy because the 23-24 tour score will be calculated only on your best seven of the twelve scheduled competitions between November and March.

So whether you are a GC member or a free member, if you like our spirit you will always be welcome at Hole Inclusive, a place where golf is a game for everyone, where the ball is warm even in winter and the hole is there, waiting for you.
